And true to form, I once again out did myself, if I do say so myself. Or something like that. You see I've been looking for the PERFECT (being type A that I am) Christmas gift for hubs for months. Months I tell you. And so what I've ended up doing is just buying a lot of presents that were fill ins. Eh, hem.
Well about a week ago I found it. It was exactly what I was looking for. Gift perfection we'll call it. Yes I'm bragging a bit TOO much. Excessive excitement will do that to a person.
And so when he decided that we had to open a present early I wasn't about to argue, my only condition was that I got to pick his out from the pile.
I'm all about presentation folks, after all it has present in it. And I kinda get ahead of myself, or hubs mainly as he's really just happy to open his dang present and I'm happy to make a production of it. I love anticipation and entrances and riddles! ooh.my.goodness.
The kids were pretty darn excited for daddy to open something
ANYTHING getting opened after weeks of waiting...
So what he really opened was a riddle. Tee hee. This apple does not fall far from the tree. Hi Dad!
And apparently baby G also is of the same lineage.
Oh the cleverness of me!
Ta Da! Now I know old antique chairs aren't really very exciting for most of you. But for a picky hubs who needs an office chair and only wanted one specifically like this, which also happens to match his antique desk. I'm pretty proud of me, yes siree!
Me = Christmas present win.
Now of course he wasn't the only one to open a present, but more on that later. For now I'm basking in some shopping glory.

Great gift! My hubby loves to lean back in a chair. Maybe I should get him the same thing. Don't tell me it was from a thrift store, OK? :)
