Jammies

So much to the consternation of MacDaddy...We let the kids open one present early. Now typically they get this present early every year and they always open it early (although they, nor hubs, ever seem to remember this).
Now MacDaddy did not believe the kids should open a present early. Well, let me rephrase. Not the present I wanted them to open early. You see we knew it was going to be jammies. And he's not a fan of jammies and clearly did not think the kids would enjoy anything other than toys. But I told him he should trust me on this one, so we went ahead with the plan. And he's still in shock, two hours later.

The littles were told they could open one present early, of mommy's choosing, then we would do something fun with said present.
They all opened up their jammies and were absolutely thrilled. I believe Little G said something to the affect, "I just love my jammies SO much and I don't know why!" They kept going into much (too much) detail on their love for their jammies while they proceeded to put them on. Them silly kids. Teaching us much about a grateful heart I'm sure...

Then skipping out on bedtime all together we piled into the car to drive ever so slowly around looking at Christmas lights. I love looking at all the lights (with heated seats:). Even baby G was pointing and saying something to the effect of "Oooh, Oooh." This definitely won't be the last night we do this, for sure.
